If you choose a dual-fuel option, however, you can also heat it when the central heating is off, thanks to the additional electric heating element. The standard dual-fuel kit uses a 600 watt electric heating element, and the smart thermostatic element runs on 1000. With the smart thermostatic kit, you can also control the temperature your rail warms to when heated by the electric element.
